The renowned German magazine ÖKO-TEST has tested 13 different suppliers of engineered hardwood flooring. Purpose of the test was to see if the manufacturers live up to the promises they make in their product specification.

 

The flooring was tested for outgassing, heavy metal content and top-layer thickness. BOEN was one of two manufacturers to achieve the top rating of sehr gut (extremely good) in every part of the test.

BOEN has been awarded The Blue Angel. This is a highly recognised enviromental label, awarded by the Department of the Environment in Germany.

 

The Blue Angel proves that the product is approved and contains very small amounts of waste gas and that wooden flooring from BOEN is involved in preserving a good inner climate and a healthy living environment.
